I Am So Blessed

As I sit here, the yummy smell of country ribs simmering in barbeque sauce on the stove, I am once again reminded of how much I love fall. When the weather starts turning cool, and the leaves change and fall from the trees, I feel an overwhelming desire to hunker down, and enjoy being at home. This time of year, makes me want to cook, bake, and get everything clean for the winter months to come.

I have also been giving alot of thought lately, to how very blessed I am. I have a wonderful husband, who works so hard to take care of me, and provides us with a comfortable home and the things we need, and want. I know he loves me, though sometimes, I honestly wonder why.
We have been blessed with four beautiful children, who make me laugh and bring me so much joy. They are my greatest blessing.
My two dog babies, Sugar and Molly, are a constant source of happiness for me. They have so much unconditional love.
I am also blessed to have a BIG family...brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. I don't see or talk to them nearly enough, and that makes me sad. I love them all so much and am so grateful for each and every one of them.
And my dad, I am so grateful for that man. He just never stops giving, and taking care of his family. I love him so much.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stanger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. --Melody Beattie
