Sunday Fun

Just taking it easy today...watching movies...playing in my studio...Easter decorating.

I bought some inexpensive - okay, cheap - plastic eggs and glued them shut. Then I taped them together while they dried.

I stuck a heavy gauge wire into a small hole in the bottom of the egg which made it very easy to brush them with glue and then sprinkle on the glass glitter. The floral foam made a great place to 'stick' them while they dried.

Then I decorated them with lace, flowers, etc.

I haven't really decorated for Easter since my kids were little, so I don't have a lot of stuff, and most of what I do have, I just bought. I may go to Michael's this week and see what I can find.

Still not so sure about that ribbon on the candle. That means it'll probably be gone in a day or two.

But, I love this cute little bunny!

Let's all do something fun and creative this week!!

Love your glittered eggs Deb, I never thought of buying those plastic ones, they probably have them at the dollar store. I am thinking of Easter decor now too, because I have seen so many cute ideas. Last year I got a wreath covered in eggs in the sales after Easter, so can't wait to do something with it :)

The bunnies are great, especially the one in her own Easter bonnet :-)

Have to say I do like your eggs even though they are way more fancy than I am used to! :)
And that li'l bunny is very sweet.
Think I have to agree about the ribbon around the candle...... how about something beaded instead?
