I Am Loving....

I am loving this gorgeous doily crocheted by my hubby's great-aunt.

Look at that beautiful ruffly edge.

I am loving this book I just got from Amazon. I'm going to try my hand at ribbonwork.

I got it yesterday and read half of it while we were at the cabin. The pictures throughout are so stunning!

It has a spiral binding so the book lays flat while you're working.

I bought some supplies and today I'm going to give it a try. I can't wait.

Just look at those beautiful flowers...I'm so excited about this book!

I am loving these pretty millinery flowers I got from My So Called Junkie Life.

I am loving this lovely pile of vintage doilies I got from The Cherry Chic.
I am also loving everyone that visits my blog. I'm getting close to my 200th post and I've been working on a giveaway...so keep watching.

Hello Debi,
That doiley is really pretty with the colorful ruffles. That book looks like a must have for me. It has some gorgeous work displayed and I would love to learn how to do it too. Some of the books I have, give a rough idea how to start...
Love the pretty treasures you found!!

That doily is really lovely! Ribbon work is GORGEOUS. I've thought of learning how, but I don't seem to get the things I actually know how to do done! I sent you an e-mail today on the swap. Just making sure you received it.

Just wonderful, all the goodies! Helen Gibb is so good and if you wonder if her dvd is worth the money, YES it is! Every penny. I don't learn as easily from books as videos and hers is fabulous! I learned so many flowers so quickly!

Love the crocheted doily, what a treasure!

Those ladies of the day could do such amazing things! I have this tucked away somewhere from my maternal Grandma's handiwork, same colors, ruffles, etc. It is a joyous thing to hold. Mine has a weight to it you wouldn't expect. Thanks for bringing me to a memory.
