The Sweetest Thing

Last month, I did a post that included this tea cup. My favorite, but saucerless tea cup.

Then, one day I received an e-mail from a woman I do not know, named Vanessa. She said she had recently purchased a cup and saucer to use for crafting, since the cup was cracked, and asked if I would be interested in it. I was so excited! I asked how much she wanted for it and she said she would rather give it to me.

When I returned home on Saturday, this was waiting for me!

I am constantly amazed by the people in this wonderful land of blog. The comradery, support and generosity that exists here is inspiring, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to meet so many amazing people.

I appreciate your sweet and generous gift Vanessa, and will treasure it. Thank you so much!

I have that same pattern! I think it may be plates though..isn't that horrible? I have tons of china and can't exactly remember....;-)

I LOVE your flowers. This is on my list of to-do's. I have the Candace Kling book and several others. Does it count that I've collected the supplies and instructions?

Warm blessings,
