Grandma's Lamp

One of my favorite, and most prized possessions is my grandma's lamp.

I have so many fond childhood memories of grandma and her home.....

...climbing the apple tree on the side of the house and eating granny smith's.....

....Sunday dinners in her dining room.....butterscotch candies in the candy dish.....

.....playing in her cool and unusual basement.....

....her pretty pink livingroom and bedroom.....I think my grandma is where I get my love of pink....

.....and playing with her perfume bottles and jewelry. Maybe I got my love for all things pretty, pink, and frilly from grandma.

We're taking off this morning....heading to our cabin until Monday. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

What a beautiful lamp...and how lucky of you to have inherited it. I too have fond memories of visiting my Grandma...and they all seemed to have had candy dishes!

A really beautiful lamp. Both my grandparents died before I was born but I do remember my mother's lamp very similar to this.

What a fabulous post! I have such fond memories of my grandmothers, too! One grandma was so country club and the other so country. But both full of love and goodies!
