Poop + Paranoia + Playing = Long Post

With the weather starting to cool down, and fall on its way, I'm in the mood to nest. Last night, I put up my 'new' lace curtains that I got at a yard sale last week.

I love the pattern in the lace...it's so pretty.

I stayed up too late last night, playing and puttering around, so I overslept this morning.
When I got up, there was a surprise waiting for me. But, not a good surprise. Molly had a little too much to eat last night, and couldn't hold it.
Because of her long legs, she has a balance problem when she does her poos, and can't stand in one place. She does what we lovingly refer to as 'the walk of shame'. Needless to say, when I saw the family room this morning 'oh poop!', wasn't my exact comment.
So....I spent the first part of my day shampooing the family room carpet!

Then there's my sweet baby Sugar. She is so paranoid that the thunder and lightening are going to come and get her, that the rain storm we had today, had her glued to my side the whole time I was trying to clean up poop.

By the time I finished the 'disaster cleanup' and got Sugar calmed down, I was just too dang tired to do anything else. So I grabbed the camera and spent the afternoon playing. Here are some pics of my kitchen.
Pleeeeeaaaase ignore the dust bunnies.

Hope your week started out great!

Sorry about the accident -- "walk of shame" -- lol -- poor Molly. (and poor you, for having to clean it up)

Love your kitchen with all its pink sweetness! Our dog, Scout, scoots while she poops. I've never seen anything like it. Sorry about the clean-up!
