Looks like you had a fabulous day! I love going to these types of events and that giant scone looks divine!
Looks like so much fun. I love it when they have art and craft shows. This weekend we had the annual bathtub race - tubs made out of everything!! A couple of guys had their beer keg attached to what look like a cardboard tub but even if it sank they still had their floating beer!!
yum! i don't think i have ever seen a scone that looks like that but i'd like to! LOLlove the swiss storybook look of some of the booths. very fun. is this in utah?xo
Um, don't think that's a scone. Must be the Swiss version! Kind of looks like a bunuelo (which is a fried tortilla covered in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with honey), but it looks a good deal chewier.
Oh what fun! I've never been to one of those, I'm sure I'd love it! Enjoy!Hugs, Lisa
Love it! I grew up in Payson with Onion days AND a Scottish festival. Local celebrations are so much fun. That's the kind of scone they make out here in Washington at the fair too. I like cinnamon sugar on it but butter and blackberry jam is awesome too.
I'm with the others..... that's a scone!!!I've never seen one like that either. But as they say, when in Rome....! I'm sure I could fit one in! :) x
Durn! I missed Swiss Days! We're usually in Denver for the Labor Day week-end and when we didn't go this year..I TOTALLY forgot about Swiss Days - well, now you've done it..I will be kicking myself all week...LOLSeriously, looks wonderful and glad you had a good time..such inspiration in every step, huh? :-)
What a great little festival!!
I love the Salt Lake Temple art, my parents were married there!
