Our Birthday Swap

Grab a drink and have a sit down.....this is a loooong post.

When Elyse and I discovered that we share
the same birthday, we decided to do a gift swap.

It was two months of planning, shopping,
and anticipating the big day!

And it was a great day!

Everything came so beautifully wrapped and trimmed.

And when I opened this sweet card and pretty little flowers
fell into my lap, I knew the fun had begun.

The beautiful tin I'd wanted so much.....

and this gorgeous blue box....were filled with gifts to unwrap.

I felt like a young girl again as I opened, savored,
giggled and squealed over each and every little package.

Pretty organization.

Sweet personalized clips!

Oooooooooh....so sweet!

And this gift here, touched my heart the most
when Elyse told me that the sweet earrings
belonged to her grandmother.

What an amazing gift! Thank you so much Elyse! Hugs!

One of the biggest treats of the day, was
'meeting' Elyse on the phone! We had
such a wonderful, relaxed conversation.

My day was topped off with a delicious dinner,
prepared by hubby, and followed by my
favorite dessert....pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Yum!

I appreciate all of the sweet birthday wishes
from my wonderful blogging friends. You really
made my day even more special and fun!

My gifts to Elyse. You can visit her blog to see more.

Be sure to sign up for my birthday giveaway
in the previous post. The drawing
will be held tomorrow.

Wishing all of you a sweet day!
