Sewing and Signs of the Season

I've been working on a sewing
project this week.

I made myself a book bag
using this beautiful rose fabric
that I got from Elyse in a swap.

Then I added this pretty doily
and a couple of flowers that I got
earlier this week from Cassandra.

Here are a few signs of the season
from around my home.

The decorations are all in place,

and the weather has been really cold
here. We've had snow a few times,
so it's really feeling like Christmas.

Now, if I could just get into
the whole shopping thing,
we'd be ready for Christmas!

Have yourself a merry little weekend!

Darling bag lady! Dec, are cute too. I saw a cartoon of a lady shopping on line and she said, "Oh but I miss the pushing and shoving and the screaming and fighting over items!"
Not me! Come say hi :D
