Dream Come True

I love my kitchen.

It's actually one of my favorite rooms.

It's small and doesn't have
alot of cabinet space, but I love it.

I don't have a dishwasher. I don't have
the space for one. But I also
enjoy the time spent washing my dishes.

My kitchen is small and decorated
in cottage style, but for as many years
as I can remember, I have wanted
a cook's kitchen. You know, the stainless
steel, restaurant-style looking kitchen?

This is my dream stove. Stainless steel, lots of burners,
a griddle, multiple ovens....the works.

It's a dream that would never be a reality. Not
only because of the big price tag, but because
of the big space required to house one. I would
actually have to give up some of my few
cabinets to fit one in my kitchen.

But, sometimes, good things DO come
in smaller packages. The new stove hubby
bought me is hooked up and ready to go.

And it is a smaller version of my dream stove.
It's stainless steel,  has a gas range top, griddle,
electric convection oven,
and it even has a small second oven.

Tonight, I'm feeling big stove love.

Sometimes, our dreams seem just
too big to come true. But, I believe
there is always a way to make them happen.

What are you dreaming about today?

HI!!!
I love your new stove!!!!
I have a dishwasher but with just 2 of us most of the time, I would rather wash them by hand and do more then 90% of the time!!!!Hmmm.... a dream..... more grand babies!!!!!

Oh how very exciting! Your kitchen sounds like mine. I'd love a new stove but I like the old look ones. Yours sounds awesome! Maybe you'll send me some cookies or brownies from your new fancy stove! hehe I get the no dishwasher thing. I won't give up the room for one here either!
Hugs, Lisa

Hi Debi, I have a nice kitchen; not too big not too small. At the moment I am dreaming of spending more time in my kitchen doing some "special baking"....decorated cookies, making confectionary etc. Also want to hide in my Studio and make all the things I have been wanting to make; rather than designing projects for publication. I have supplies up to the ceiling for; china painting, papercrafts, decorative painting, knitting, sewing and quilting....I am wanting "time for me" now...will have to make it happen soon or I think I will just "explode"....lol!

My husband has his dream stove and it is a Viking too but not with a double oven like that, it has 4 burners and a grill. His passion is cooking and baking and we also have a large kitchen so his dream did come true, for the new house he is after a built in fridge :) Not for me though, I can't even cook or bake, and I hate stainless steel it is a pain to keep looking clean, and Debi, the burner thingies on top are cast iron and you can't clean them either.
I would much rather have something with a flat top on it LOL, just wipe and go.....
