Oh Happy Day!

It was a great weekend! I had more energy
than usual, and got several things done.

Like 'helping'  *wink*  hubby put up
new back splash in the kitchen.

I have wanted this for so long....

and I'm absolutely loving it!

I got the third shoe finished for
the Marie Antoinette swap....
that makes me happy.

And today, I got a swap gift from sweet Elyse!

We did a Valentine swap.

There are sweet smelling rose shaped soaps...

a pretty resin rose, and six pairs of the sweetest
little rose earrings. There's only five in the picture....

because I had to put on the pink ones right away!

She included some of her sweet little matchboxes,
filled with the prettiest goodies for creating....swooning....

and these adorable little pink shakers
filled with pretty glitter!!  eeeeeeeek!!!

There's also pretty pink tissues, a cute little
notebook, and sweet pink ribbon trim....

and this precious clothespin doll who
looks like a queen. Even the card is delicious!

Thank you sweet Elyse, you made my day!
You're a wonderful blogging friend!

I like your kitchen backsplash, it's beadboard, real wood or wallpaper?
I just did the same thing in my kitchen, but I opted for the paper, and painted it a soft turquoise colour...i'll post it soon!

ciao bella...keep up your pretty site!
