These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

Paper roses

There's something about paper roses
that I just love. I use them on
probably most of the things I create.

Learning something new

I love to keep busy trying new things.
Especially when it comes to creating.

I love tulips because they say,
'spring is on its way!'

Dark, milk, semi sweet, white....
it's all good!

For me, creating is second only
to spending time with my family.

I love the excitement of gathering my
supplies and making a plan, and the feeling
of accomplishment when I've completed
something. But, it's the process of creating
that brings me the greatest joy.

Blogging friends

I love meeting so many sweet
blogging friends who 'get me'
even when my own family doesn't.

People who share a love for
the same things that I love,
and totally understand my
'need' to create everyday.

I appreciate all of you who
visit my blog and share your
thoughts, offer encouragement,
and inspire me daily.

Hi Debi :) I'm a lurker on your blog! I just wanted to mention that I sometimes see those paper roses at my local dollar store!! Maybe yours will carry those too :) And I am so loving those new tiny Prima roses, too! Your faux cake box came out wonderfully :) I have to get started on mine! *Hugs*

aw, i love the list and agree with everything you say but i'm so touched to see the little clothespin dolls here. :)

one of the best things about blogging friends is how we "get" one another. i remember when i posted about painting my chair lavender and you commented something sweet that let me know you remembered my posting once about lavender being one of my undeclared favorite colors and i thought -- how neat that she knows/remembers that.

i hope that made sense. no coffee or breakfast for me yet! LOL

paper roses are awesome and so is your faux treat!

what lovely photos - and what charming favorite things!

I also love paper flowers - not so much a fan of silk or other materials. But paper flowers just make me smile!

I absolutely adore paper roses too - I am starting to get a nice little collection going. And of course they are all mostly pink and white. Do you know about PRIMA's new collection of paper flowers? Some of them are kind of pricey - but they are so pretty!

Debi, what is the best source you have found for buying paper roses? I can't seem to find them locally. Some place online? Come for a visit.
