Something Old, Something New - Part I

Monday was an amazing mail day for me.

Not only did I receive the stunning Marie closet
from Rella, (two posts back) but........

I also received all of these beautiful gifts
from Kathy. This was a fun swap, with a wedding
theme, but the gifts did not have to be wedding related.

Everything was wrapped so pretty
and each gift had the cutest tag.

 Something Old

A whole package of fun.....ephemera, trims, a hankie and bling.

 Something New

A local magazine I can't wait to read, a beautiful peony print
by her neighbor, and a packet of pretty note cards.

 Something Borrowed

This ever-so-sweet tote came from Tiffany, The Fancy Farmgirl.
Thank you so much for playing along Tiffany!

 Something Blue

I just love this precious little doll, and the beautiful lace.

Vintage Wedding Photo

My jaw dropped when I saw this beautiful collage
that Kathy made. I LOVE all of the pretty details.

And, as if all of that wasn't enough, she just kept on spoiling me!

LOOK at this hat! Is that not the sweetest hat?

In the sweetest pink....with tulle, and pretty ivory flowers.

And.....this adorable nest that fit right into my livingroom.

And then, to make absolutely sure
I had been spoiled totally rotten,
she added these yummy truffles.

Thank you so much Kathy.

Kathy's son is home on leave until the 13th,
when he will return to his base in Hawaii
before being deployed to Iraq on June 28th.

I am so proud to be an American
and feel so blessed that there are
those, like Kathy's son, who proudly
serve this great nation.

My thoughts and prayers are with all
of the men and women serving their country.
