Time at the Cabin

Hubby's been on vacation the last week,
so we spent the week at our cabin.

I usually love our time there, but this
trip, I was sick most of the time....so I'm
glad to be back home.

For those of you who are new to my blog,
we have a teeny, tiny cabin about an hour from home.

From spring to early fall, we spend a lot of time there.

It's small and cozy, and while I have it
decorated in a cottage style also, it is very
different from the pink and pastels of home.

Hubby woke me up early this morning
to see this sweet little buck standing in our yard.
The pic was taken through the kitchen window
so it's a little blurry. We never get tired of
seeing these beautiful creatures in our yard.

And then, after thinking spring would never really come,
I came home to flowers blooming in my little garden.

My poor columbine is covered with cotton.
Somebody has one of those pesky trees. *sigh*

I have lots of fun things to share with you
this week. I can't wait to show you
what else I came home to.

Spring is here!

And the baby buck is FABULOUS! Sigh. My life long dream is to have a cabin somewhere . . . sigh. Sigh. SOMEDAY!!!
Anyway - I missed you - I love your oven and the vintagey cabiny feel you've created there. Very fun!
Talk to you soon!

Welcome home, Sweet Pea!! Your little cabin is darling and your visitors are precious!! What do the two of you do while there? Is it total relaxing time, or are there things like fishing or boating?

Your flowers are beautiful and the fuzzy stuff on your pretty columbine...well, lets think of it as little faeries coming in and putting soft down around the petals so they can come and rest while enjoying the beauty. We shall call it Faerie Fluff. :)

And do share with your readers the stunning closet you made for me...I am still swooning.
