Playing Catch Up

I wanted to show you this cute package I got in the mail
last week. I ordered some of Carmelina's beautiful doilies.

As someone who doesn't draw, I'm always impressed
by people who take the time to do something like this.
I love her sweet drawings on the envelope.

These pretty doilies are just the right size
to use in special projects.......

.........or just hoard.  teehee!

I made this paper doll yesterday, for a Marie swap.
I'm so tired right now, it took me forever
and just took so much thinking, my brain hurts now.

Hubby and I are leaving for the cabin
in a few days, and I'm going to pack
up lots of projects to work on.

I appreciate everyone who has visited
my blog the last couple of weeks, and
left so many sweet comments.

I'm still working on getting around to see
everyone in the 'Where Bloggers Create'
party, and the 'Bloggerette Sorority' party.
It may take me awhile, but I'll get there!

Just delicious handwork, Debi...I am soooo enjoying going over your older posts & seeing all your "blessings" squares. You do lovely work!!!

I like to smock & embroider & do lots of bullion roses & need some handwork available at all times to work on. So glad you're in the Bloggerette Sorority with me.

Have a Happy 4th of July!

I love it when even the package is special!! Your Marie doll was worth the wait, even if you need some aspirin! As far as the doilies? I'd probably hoard them!!

The paper Marie doll is gorgeous. Since I work mainly in clay and metal I love seeing what people do with other mediums like paper.
