Dreamy Surprises

Today was a dreamy mail day!

This gorgeous pink shoe, filled with the most beautiful
treasures arrived on my doorstep. I won Cassandra's
Mes Belles Chaussures giveaway gift.

It is so deliciously pretty....and just as soon
as I can bring myself to taking everything
out of the shoe, I'm going to have a blast
creating something special with these beauties.

Thank you so much Cassandra for this beautiful gift.

For the last week, I've been scouring the online
shops for a beautiful crinoline for Violet Ann.
I finally decided that maybe I should wait until
after Christmas to buy myself yet another gift.

And then to my surprise, a gift arrived from my
very talented and dear friend Terri. You could
have knocked me over with a feather when I
unwrapped the beautiful pink package to find
this lusciously, dreamy crinoline.

The fit is perfect for Violet Ann, as if it were made for her.

And every time I pass it, I stop and stare.

It is so beautiful, I have moved Violet Ann to the livingroom.

She's all decked out and ready to party!

Terri, I am overwhelmed with your generosity,
and your sweet gift is much appreciated.
I will treasure it. Thank you dear friend.

Your blog and all the pretty things you show and the words you write are like a gift to me. It is so great that you share this with the world and me. Im a jeans and boots kinda 'girl' But secretly I crave romantic and pretty pink lacey things. So thank you again for letting me share in all of this.

Just beautiful, your Violet is wonderful and I love the gift of the crinoline. Just last night I was searching the internet for a pink crinoline. I would love to find out where Terri found that one. I have a manaquin I would love to have one for also. Her name is Jessie Violet after both my grandmothers.
