Valentine Heart

I've always loved Valentine's Day,
but I can't remember when I've enjoyed
creating Valentines as much as I have this year.

This heart was created for the Cloth Valentine Heart
contest in the Marie Antoinette group.

Our lovely hostess Terri, gave us the pattern,
and then we were to give it our own touches.

I stitched a vintage faux pearl necklace
across the top to hang the heart.

And the Eiffel Tower that I used, was brought
to me from France, by my sister in law.

This was such a fun project, it will definitely
not be the only heart I make.

What special project are you creating right now?

The trims are so romantic...and your layering, excuisite!

Right now, I'm dreaming up a lace covered journal...
With decorated lace pages to boot!

But crocheting is getting in the way!
