A Garden Party

Welcome to my little backyard

Today I'm joining my Sorority Sisters for a garden party.

I love Spring! Every year, I look forward to spending
time in the yard, and vow to have beautiful gardens.

I buy a few plants, get them in the ground, and
before I get back to the nursery, the temperature
goes up, and I hide in the house. The few plants
I have wilt in the sun, and most die.

Every year, I start the process over. So, most
of my gardens look like they were just created.

And some, are still waiting to be planted.

 I love our backyard.

Hubby has created some wonderful spaces
in our little corner of the world, and
I love spending time out there.

Though very small, our yard has different
levels and a variety of little spaces.

And our decorating style is very eclectic.

I'm still in the process of planting and adding
fun things to the yard, and once again,
I have vowed to have beautiful gardens.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this year,
when the temperature starts to climb,
I won't go hide in the house!

Visit my Sorority Sisters for more garden fun.

Debi,

What a lovely garden you have! So many unique and interesting things that make it so delightful!
I do think I have you beat on the small yard deal. Mine is about the size of a postage stamp. i like saying that because hubby is a mail man!!

I love the vignette in the garden with the bench!! Stunning!

hugs,
Debbie

hi debi!

what a lovely backyard! it is bursting with charm.

i'm the same way when it comes to gardening. this year i actually planted flowers where the air conditioners drip water so that when i forget about them, they just might survive. we'll see!

good luck with making it happen this year. you are off to a pretty start!

Hi, Sistah...Your garden area is just magical. I love the different levels and the different things you have there.
I am so the same way when it comes to the heat. I stay close to the air conditioner.
We are in the middle of a terrible drought here in West Texas and my flowers are so pitiful. The ones I am showing today are from last year.

What a fun garden, I love all the different spaces. I think my favorite is the pink flamingo ;) I also love the hot air balloon.

The flowers are lovely, I do hope they don't wilt to badly.

Thanks for sharing.

Your garden is lovely! I adore your little pink bench. All the flowers are beautiful. I'm visiting from Garden Party - stop by The Pink Home if you get a chance. Your blog is lovely, too - I can't believe I haven't come across it before. I'm your latest follower. :)

Tis not the size of the garden...but the beauty and reflection of it's creator that matters! This just has debi written all over it. I love the tin tub of flowers spilling out of it! I think I might try that sometime!
