Tea Cup Tuesday

This is another one of my newest teacups,
and I'm in love, love, Love.

I don't know anything about it except
that it's a Royal Albert.

I love the soft pink background
and the pretty pink roses.

I also love the shape of the cup and
the beautiful gold around the edges.

A Beautiful Gift

I'm participating in a swap in the Marie Antoinette
group where we were to send a pretty box
filled with goodies to our partner. With those
goodies, we will create a Marie/French themed journal.

My partner is the beautiful and talented Holly.
She sent me this pretty book box filled
with the most dreamy selection of goodies.

Instead of choosing what colors we wanted our
goodies to be, we both decided to let our partner
choose for us. I'm absolutely thrilled with her choices!

This beautiful, soft green and pink hankie
was folded in the top of the box....

and inside, was this sweet crochet glove.

I received beautiful fabrics, jewelry,

images stamped on muslin,

beautiful handmade flowers,

and lots of pretty ribbons and laces.
Even an 'M' pin!

And I'm over-the-top crazy about this
rhinestone studded Eiffel Tower!!

I was so excited about all these beauties, that
I just couldn't wait. I started working on my
journal last night, and will have it finished tonight.

I'll show you photos as soon as it's finished.

Thank you so much Holly for putting
together this beautiful package for me.
I love everything!

Tea Cup Tuesday

My collection is small.
Some are vintage and some are new.

But, they all have one thing in common.

They make me smile.

This is one of my newest additions, and
it makes me giddy every time I see it.

This is Lady Carlyle by Royal Albert.

I love everything about it, from the dainty scallops
to the colorful flowers. And well, it's pink!

The colors are vibrant and happy,
and to me, it is the picture of perfect beauty.

I Love My Mailman!

He brings me such beautiful things!

Like this beautiful scarf from Claudia.

She had shown a scarf like this on her blog,
and I was instantly smitten! I contacted
her to see if she would be willing to make
one for me. And here it is!

I love the beautiful, warm colors and the pretty pattern.

Thank you so much Claudia, I love it!!

I nabbed these beauties the minute I saw
them in Carmelina's etsy shop.

She creates the most beautiful doilies,
and now, she's making crocheted lace trim.

This will be used on something really special.

She even included extra goodies in my package!

Thanks so much Carmelina! I love it all!

We had a fun Valentine Gala, with live chat,
in the Marie Antoinette Mail Art group,
and I won this gorgeous heart pocket from Terri.

This is one talented lady, and I LOVE her creations!

She even filled the pocket with these beauties
for me to use in my creating.

Terri, I love everything! Thank you, sweet friend!

My sweet friend Sonia sent this beautiful tag
and yummy chocolates for Valentine's Day.

I've already eaten half of the chocolate!
Thank you for thinking of me Sonia.

And, I won Tabitha's beautiful Valentine giveaway!

Look at all these sweet goodies.

Thank you Tabitha, I'm going to have fun with these!

I also purchased three new books. I'm hoping
to learn lots of fun, new ideas and techniques.

Well, I'm off to create something pretty!

Oh, wait...I have to clean the house first. :(

Teacup Trade

I joined in the Teacup Trade

I loved this swap!!

My partner was Cathy from Hazelruthe's,
and I'm tickled pink with my gifts from her.

She sent me, not one, not two......

....but THREE beautiful teacups!!

The package also included this sweet pink rose
and a pretty vintage doily. *swoon*

Pink roses everywhere!

This cup has the sweetest little feet....

and a sweet floral surprise in the bottom.

Oh, how I love pink roses!

If that wasn't enough, there is also a beautiful journal,
a sweet, pink, heart paper shoe, and CHOCOLATE!

Cathy, I LOVE, and will treasure everything!

Well, except the chocolate....I'm eating that! lol

Thank you for being my partner.

And a BIG thank you to our wonderful hostess, Sharon.
