It Isn't Spring Yet!

We had a crazy snow storm last night. The wind was blowing,
so it looked like a blizzard. When I looked out the front door,
this is what I saw. The snow had swirled itself right over the front
of the roof, and was hanging there.

When I got up this morning, I was happy to see that hubby
had taken the camera outside to get some pictures so I could see it.

It looked like a big, white blanket laying over the whole house.

When my son got up this morning, he took this picture
of the snow hanging from the carport area. It had started to melt,
and was hanging about two feet over the edge of the roof.

He said about two seconds after he got this shot, it all fell.

Isn't Mother Nature a wonderful, amazing thing?

That really is neat to see a huge white and soft blanket of snow covering your roof like that.....bet it made it all extra warm and cozy inside, keeping all your heat in even better! lol

we only have rain...no snow....IN CANADA!

off to catch up on what I've missed around here with my cup of coffee in hand!

The Snow does look beautiful but I think we are all in the mood for Spring even though it hasn't been to bad this winter. Our biggest snow storm this season here in Pa. came on Oct. 30th!!!

Debi, Mother Nature is truly amazing, I agree! Sounds like hubby and son both knew just the right moment to capture these treasures of nature... as much as I dislike snow, I have to always gaze in amazement at how serene and beautiful everything looks when covered in white... oh, and I caught a glimpse of some mountains in the background?!? Is that really the view from the front of your home?

Hi Debi, Oh your pictures are beautiful! You must have had high winds for the snow to do that, it is pretty, but cold. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Terri
