Welcome to our Cabin

I've been spending a lot of time at our cabin this summer,
and recently had a request from sweet friend Elyse, for some pics.

So, I took some this week.

At less than 800 square feet, our tiny cabin is located
in the beautiful hills of Midway, Utah.

It was built more than 40 years ago, by my hubby and his dad.

Several years ago, we inherited the cabin from his parents,
and have slowly been working at making it our own.

It is a hodgepodge of new pieces, old pieces, cast offs from home,
and anything else I think to add to the mix. And, we love it.

It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle
of everyday life and responsibilities.

There is no phone to ring, and no solicitors visit our door.

In a few days, one of my sisters and I are going back
for a week of jammies and crafting. I can't wait!!

I hope you will come back and see me, well, my blog,
this Saturday, the 14th for Karen's 'Where Bloggers Create' party.

I won't be home, but my post will be here. And when I get back,
I'll be visiting all those beautiful studios for inspiration.

Hope you're having a beautiful summer!

Oh what a wonderful place to go relax and hide away!! So glad sweet Elyse got you to take pictures-it really is charming and sweet- comfy cozy and all that!

Working on my creative space too- know it won't be where I would like for it to be (too many projects that just didn't get done) but I am so glad I finally have a space of my own!

Debi- What a wonderful, wonderful getaway place. It just oozes peace and quiet. What part of the country are you located in there? The hills kind of remind me of PA...my home state. Have a ball with your sister. xo Diaan
