my very first ever flea Market

I had such a fun weekend!

I went to my very first ever flea market!!   I know.
'How could she never have been to a flea market before?!!', you're thinking.

I have looked, and never found one in my area.
If you are in the Salt Lake area, and know better,
please enlighten me.

The market was hosted by the Vintage Whites Market, and
held at the Fairgrounds in Salt Lake City.

Booth after booth of fun, new, refurbished, and vintage goodies.

I don't think I missed a single booth, and hubby was such a sport,
carrying my bag of goodies, and taking pictures for me,
while I swooned and shopped.

I found lots of fun things.....lace, buttons, jars, molds.....

lots of silver spoons, hangers, pretty doilies.....

and some craft and scrapbooking supplies.

I even got to meet Jo Packham, and had her sign
the latest copy of one of my favorite magazines.

My favorite find of the day though, was this sweet-as-pie
hall tree. I knew the minute I saw it, it was coming home with me.

Hubby knew it too because he knows that look!

I've been playing dress-up with it for the last two days.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I'll be back soon with some of my latest creations.

Wow what a great flea market for your first one!!! I loved all the pictures in this post. I am a flea market junkie and loved seeing all the pictures on your post. Did that girl with the cream and white booth have a blog or website. I see some really cute things in her booth. I love the apron on her dress form and the cute one on with the ruffles she is wearing.

What a beautiful looking flea market, they are usually all dirty and jumbled, although I only know of a few in my area too. I love your hall tree and all your little goodies :)

It looks like a wonderful place to experience your first flea market. We really don't have flea markets in my area also. This would have been like going to the candy store! Love the treasures you found!

The great thing about flea markets is that you never know quite what you are going to find. Luckily we have one close by that we often enjoy. I love the antique bicycle. We bake a lot at my home so we could really find use for a few of those molds.
