so.....

it's been a long time!

Well, here I am again. Sitting at my computer, trying to figure
out what to say in a post. And that is what has made me blog
less and less and less over the last year.

I get so tired of trying to think of what to say. So from now on,
when I sit down to do a post, I'm just going to start 'talking',
and hope I don't sound like an idiot. But, if I do.......

oh well.

Challenge 1 - photograph, sketch, paint or incorporate your front door.

I have a lot to share. I've been working on some changes around here,
and some new things, because the same old thing has just gotten boring.

I'm participating in The Documented Life Project. Have you heard of it?
It is so much fun, and has grown like crazy! Five talented women
started the project and have a special Facebook page for the group.
We're making day planner/journal/art journals.

It's not too late to join....and it's free!

Challenge 2 - incorporate a selfie.

Each week a new challenge is listed, and you can do it, or not.

Challenge 3 - add an envelope from your mailbox.

Challenge 4 - write a secret message and then paint over all but one key word.

Challenge 5 - add a doodle border.

Well, those are my challenge pages so far. I'm sure having fun with this project!

I'll be back with more to share, soon.

Have a great, creative week!

I love what you've been up to Debi! The journal pages are awesome. Do you know I have never done a journal before or much at all with paper. I have done some fun collage canvases with paper and fabrics though and love just sitting down and seeing what comes into my mind. I love what came into yours!!!!
I wanted to ask you if you know much about the Vintage Whites Market in SLC? My daughters and I are thinking we would like to go this year, but don't know if it is what we are thinking it is. I saw an ad on Craig's List for vendors for it and we don't want to be vendors, just shoppers. Have you heard of it?
I hope you have a great week Debi!
hugs from here...

Oh wow, debi....I love your sweet journal pages.
It's been so long since I've done anything in my journal...I miss it. Too busy making things to keep my shop full....but you, my dear, are an inspiration.

You DO NOT sound silly, I love your writing, what you post about....don't find it the least bit boring!

Hope you enjoy your courses....you have a talent...and remember, 60 is only a number.
I'm turning 40 this year.....but I still feel 20 inside!

love ya.
