playing in paints

To practice any art,
no matter how well or badly,
is a way to make your SOUL grow.

So do it.
--Kurt Vonnegut

12 x 12 canvas

I'm not sure if I have ever enjoyed anything as much as painting.

I feel more happy and relaxed when painting than with

anything else I've ever done.

Whether it's on canvas, or in my art journals,

I just can't get enough, and I find myself doing it every day.

24 x 8 canvas

Here are some canvases I have done.

10 x 10 canvas for my sister

16 x 20 canvas

16 x 20 canvas

I really, really love

I hope you're doing something today
that makes your soul happy!

Oh wow, this is quite a change from what you used to do, and I love it. Its always good to try something new I think. Stretch our creative minds and spirits, and I am so happy that you are enjoying it soooo much :)
Hope to keep up with your blog again, am trying to get back into it :)

These are amazing my friend! I couldn't even pick a favorite if I had to...they are all beautiful Debi! I don't paint often, but when I do it does feel wonderful. But of course my paintings never look this lovely!
